ArtsA NUEX Homecoming

A NUEX Homecoming

You can come home again……as proven by DC natives and fan favorite, NUEX. This talented duo keeps the party rolling this Memorial Day with a much-anticipated performance on May 29 at the Anacostia Arts Center at 7p.m.

With their haunting lyrics, palpable chemistry, dark experimental beat and unique hip-hop infused sound, singer-songwriter Camille Michelle Gray and drummer-producer Teddy Aitkins have been augmenting the definition of music genre since 2014.

Tuesday’s performance will take place just days after the release of their highly acclaimed five-track debut EP, Affectus. Listen below to get a taste of why the pair was chosen in 2017 to represent DC at SXSW.
