At approximately 1130 p.m. Tuesday May 21, MPD Officers heard gunshots coming from the area of the 1100 block of K Street SE. When they got there, witnesses said that a man was shot a block to the east, while he was standing on the 1200 block of Potomac Avenue SE.
Officers believe that a vehicle drove through the block and shot at the victim.
The victim received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
