In Thursday’s situational update, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) announced that a new urgent care facility is coming to Maple View Flats.
The facility is set to open late in the year and will offer standard outpatient care to community residents. Bowser said she is excited to welcome a new healthcare system east of the river that “attacks health disparities and makes us more resilient for challenges that lie ahead.”
Additionally, a second urgent care center, slated to open in late 2022, will be located in Ward 7.
