The next Used Book Sale to benefit both the Friends of the Northeast and Southeast Libraries is scheduled for Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Book donations are welcomed now! Please drop in bin located in lower level of the Northeast Library (330 Seventh St. NE). Books of all types and for all ages are greatly appreciated.
Shoppers at the sale can find new and mostly used books of all types, including children’s books, fiction, best sellers, non-fiction, cook books mysteries, science, science fiction, romance, religion, history, biography, self-help, classics, travel, etc. There are also CDs and movies on DVDs. We usually have a few books on disk too. You never know what treasure you might discover! Inventory varies widely from sale to sale.
Most items are $1, with some special or larger items priced at $2 and higher.
Proceeds benefit both Friends groups d with the Southeast and Northeast DC Public Library. The two friends groups are working together while the Southeast Library is closed for modernization.
Please, NO text books, NO casebooks, NO magazines, NO foreign language books, NO outdated computer books, NO encyclopedias, NO VHS or cassette tapes.
