Drive-in to Movies at Capitol Riverfront

The Capitol Riverfront Outdoor Movie Series is back: drive-in style!  The Capitol River BID has lined up a six-week drive-in movie series beginning Friday, September 25th at the Akridge Lot (First and V Streets SW) in Buzzard Point next to Audi Field.

Each movie begins at 7:30 p.m. There will be space for 75 vehicles set at an appropriate social distance.

In celebration of Halloween season, the second half of the series will include a festive lineup of spooktacular flicks. The best part? Movie-goers get to choose the grand finale film via the People’s Choice Category (voting begins September 1).

Tickets are $20 per car. Funds will be donated to local charities including DC Central Kitchen, Van Ness Elementary, and Capital Area Food Bank.

COVID concerns prevent vending onsite, but you can order and pick up drive-in dinner from over 60 neighborhood restaurants!
