Police are investigating a shooting on H Street Tuesday night that left one man dead.
It happened on the 700 block of H Street NE around 9:51 pm. Officers said the victim is an adult male who succumbed to gunshot injuries and was pronouned dead on the scene.
Officers told local officials that the incident appears to have begun with an argument inside of a business. The victim left, but two suspects followed him out and shot him.
Police are looking for any information on a silver Dodge Durango seen fleeing the area with two suspects. One suspect was dressed in a red shirt and red pants. The second suspect was wearing a black coat.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for each homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
